Refund policy

We want you to be happy with every purchase from Resin Studio. If something is not right, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

Change-of-mind returns

You may cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving it without giving a reason.

After telling us that you wish to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Returned items should be:

  • Unused and in their original condition

  • Securely packaged to prevent damage

  • Returned with their original packaging where possible

  • Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase

You may inspect an item as you would in a shop. We may reduce the refund if an item has been handled more than necessary and this has reduced its value.

Items that may not be accepted for change-of-mind returns

Unless faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we may be unable to accept returns of:

  • Opened or used resin, hardener, pigments, dyes or other liquids

  • Products with broken safety seals where they cannot safely be resold

  • Custom-made or personalised products

  • Products mixed or prepared specifically for an order

  • Perishable or time-sensitive products

  • Gift vouchers

This does not affect your statutory rights when an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or unfit for purpose.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If your order arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.

For visible delivery damage, we ask that you contact us within seven days where reasonably possible. Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the problem

  • Clear photographs of the item, packaging and delivery label

Reporting damage within seven days helps us investigate the problem with the delivery company. It does not remove any rights you may have under consumer law.

Once the issue has been confirmed, we will arrange an appropriate replacement, repair or refund. We will cover reasonable return costs when goods are faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly.

How to return an item

Before returning anything, please contact us through our Contact page or telephone 01422 405045.

When returning an item:

  1. Include your order number inside the parcel.

  2. Package the item carefully and securely.

  3. Use a tracked delivery service.

  4. Keep your receipt and proof of postage until your return has been completed.

Please do not send a return before contacting us, as this could delay your refund or exchange.

Return postage

For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.

If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, Resin Studio will cover reasonable return postage costs or provide suitable return instructions.

We cannot accept responsibility for change-of-mind returns that are lost or damaged while being returned to us.

Refunds

We will inspect your return after it arrives and notify you by email when it has been approved.

Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method. We aim to process refunds within five working days of approving a return and, where required by law, no later than 14 days after receiving the returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back.

For an eligible cancellation, we will refund the price paid and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery service. Additional amounts paid for express or upgraded delivery are not refundable unless the goods were faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

Banks and payment providers may take additional time to show the refund in your account.

Exchanges

If you would like an exchange, please contact us before returning the item so we can check availability.

Replacement items will normally be dispatched after the original product has been received and inspected. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we will offer an alternative or issue a refund.

Cancelling before dispatch

If you want to cancel or change an order that has not yet been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee that an order can be stopped once warehouse processing has begun. If it has already been dispatched, it can be returned in accordance with this policy.
