This concentrated black dye is designed to give epoxy and casting resins a rich, opaque finish with very little product required. It blends smoothly into the resin, helping you achieve deep colour whether you are coating surfaces, pouring larger batches or working with smaller cast pieces. The dye’s strength means you can fine-tune the shade easily, from a soft charcoal tint to a fully saturated black.

Because of its high concentration, using the smallest amount usually gives the most predictable results. Touching the tip of a stir stick to the dye can be enough for small batches, keeping control over opacity without overwhelming the resin. It can also create translucent effects if used sparingly, though its main purpose is solid, bold colouring. Shaking or stirring before use helps keep the tone uniform since opaque fillers may settle over time.
